Peninsula Oilers Baseball Club, Inc.

The objects and purposes for which the Peninsula Oilers was formed is:

  • To promote athletics, particularly baseball, in the Kenai Peninsula area.
  • To recognize outstanding achievement, particularly in baseball in the Kenai Peninsula area.
  • To foster, promote and organize recreational activity and facilities in the Kenai Peninsula area.
  • To recognize outstanding contribution to the community in these endeavors.
  • To encourage athletes to be good scholars by supporting scholastic achievement and scholarships.

The Peninsula Oilers are proud of the 40 years of quality collegiate summer baseball we have brought to our community. We have seen some tremendous talent play for our organization and have been led by a host of notable community leaders. Visit our Hall of Fame page to read about some of the fabulous players and personnel that have made our organization great.

The Peninsula Oilers is a community based (501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. We receive funds through our gaming partners which operate bingo and pull-tabs. Gaming currently only meets 1/3 of our revenue needs. During the season we generate another 1/3 through advertising, sponsorships, and game revenue. Our board works diligently to raise the rest. We host fundraisers and hold raffles throughout the year.

Please take a moment to consider making a tax deductible donation. Your donation will assist us in bringing talented ballplayers to our area. We cover the cost of airfare, team travel, meals while on the road, coaches, coach housing, umpires, umpire transportation and housing, and we maintain one of the top baseball fields in the state!

Donations can be made the following ways:

By credit card: call 907-283-7133 ext. 0

By mail: PO Box 318, Kenai, AK 99611

Donations can be designated for specific purposes or will be used at the discretion of the board. Receipts are available on request.

On behalf of the entire organization,

Thank you for supporting Peninsula Oilers Baseball!
